Skyward Family Access
Parents are able to Access Family Statements on line to check a balance, or review charges by student through family access.
Click on the Check Account Balance Button or the link on the District Home Page.
The program is not a credit card type system. Students are issued a 4 Digit Pin number, which is assigned to them when they first enter the school district. Our policy requires all student accounts must be active and current and have a positive balance in order to purchase lunch (for full and reduced priced meals), extra milk or ala carte items. There is no maximum amount that you can pre-pay.
If a students’ account balance becomes low, a weekly reminder will be sent out to parents. A low balance is defined as an account balance of -$50.00. When the account reaches $0 or below, a la carte purchases will not be allowed. Families are required to pay in advance for the lunch program and should maintain a positive balance in their account. All students whose balance reaches -$50.00 will receive a notice sent home and a telephone call from a school official. A substitute meal that consists of a cheese sandwich and milk will be provided for three days at no charge. After the three days, if the account balance has not been paid or a payment plan agreed upon, the student’s food service account (including lunch, breakfast and milk) will be disabled and the parent/guardian will need to send their student with a lunch from home until the outstanding balance has been paid. All Middle/High school student’s a la carte purchases during this time will be denied. After reaching this limit, students will not be allowed to take part in the lunch / breakfast program until payment has been made and a positive balance has been established. Parents should discuss meal and a la carte purchasing guidelines with their children on a regular basis to prevent unwelcome purchases.
Payments are accepted by check or cash. Payments by check or cash must be in a sealed envelope and the envelope must contain student or family name, lunch ID and account number to assist in crediting the proper account
Any money remaining in a student lunch account at the end of the school year will be transferred with the student to the next grade. Any refunds of $5.00 or more for students leaving the district must be made in writing to: Stacie Dettwiler, Food Service Director, Belleville School District, 635 West Church Street, Belleville, WI 53508. Request for refund forms are available at all school offices.
Can I limit my child purchases on a la carte?
Yes, you may put a dollar limit on the account per child or block the a la carte option entirely. You just need to call our office and we can set that up for you.
